2008 première at the Striped Door Gallery, Nashville, TN, : the "I Am Woman" series showcased the intimate sensitivities that all women possess at all ages. I was invited to become director, which led to all responsibilities having to do with directing an art gallery: graphic design and production, press releases, negotiating with artists, designing forms systems to document inventory, sales, invoices, price lists, price cards, photography, designing and hanging shows as well as showing my own work. All graphic design work and copywriting necessitated by art openings such as concept, theme, invites, programs, biographies, signs, web site.

Founder and publisher of national literary magazine, Poet (1984-1996), as well as design and production of other national and international publications.
Prior to this period I was a free-lance artist working in the fields of advertising, art, education, fashion, healthcare, literary, marketing, music, political, publishing and others.
GRAPHIC ARTS EDUCATION
I am mostly self-taught in the graphic arts field. I had great teachers, having had the creativity and the opportunity to work with many outstanding, award-winning artists, designers, writers, photographers, publishers, marketing and advertising executives and I am still learning.
